A Fantastic Start to the Year for North Tyneside Music’s Wednesday Evening Sessions
Wednesday evenings are buzzing with creativity, teamwork and musical talent as our music groups come together each week to learn, rehearse and grow.
Our Emerging Artists Programme has got off to a brilliant start, with participants already working hard towards an exciting performance in December. Each week, young artists are collaborating on original songs, sharing ideas and supporting one another in the creative process. The rehearsal space has become a hub of inspiration, where musicians are building confidence, developing their songwriting abilities and strengthening their performance skills. It has been fantastic to see artists working together, learning from each other and bringing their unique ideas to life.
Alongside this, our Youth Choir has made a great start to the year. The group has been working together to prepare for a number of upcoming performances and is already showing incredible enthusiasm and commitment. Rehearsals have been filled with energy, laughter and plenty of singing, as members develop their vocal skills and learn to perform confidently as part of an ensemble. The choir continues to grow in both confidence and musical ability, and we are looking forward to seeing them shine at their upcoming shows.
Our Music Theory Class is also continuing to expand, with new and returning learners working together to deepen their understanding of music. The participants are developing their music theory knowledge that supports their practical music-making. The collaborative atmosphere within the class encourages everyone to ask questions, share ideas and help one another progress.
We are incredibly proud of the progress already being made and excited to see what the coming months will bring. With plenty of hard work, creativity and collaboration ahead, we are looking forward to showcasing the achievements of all our musicians as the year progresses and especially at our performances later this year.
